Confetti Popper DIY Baby Gender Reveal

Being Christmas time, it was almost impossible to find an Etsy shop open for my custom gender reveal confetti poppers! Luckily, I was able to come up with a super easy design I could actualize quickly! For this DIY, someone needs to know the gender of the baby! My husband and I were waaaaaay to eager to wait any longer then arriving home from my ultrasound appointment before we ripped open the envelope!!! You could easily hand that envelope to someone else who would be willing to complete this easy DIY for you if you would like to be surprised along with family and friends!

  • Gather your supplies… in whatever colors you would like!
    1. confetti party poppers – I liked Blue=Boy + Gold=Girl.
    2. crinkle cut paper – I decided to keep everything white!
    3. 6″X3″X3″ corrugated mailers – Only if you plan on mailing these!
    4. printer + printing paper
    5. double sided tape + tape
    6. cutting tools
  • Print + trim your labels.
    1. confetti party popper labels: 5″wide X 4″high (you will probably need to trim the height a little bit more after printing)
      • 2 labels/8.5″X11″ sheet of paper
      • I love the “Pop Fizz Clink” saying that has been circulating, so I played off that idea… Pop! Flutter! Cheer!
    2. corrugated mailer labels: 6″wide X 3″high
      • 3 labels/8.5″X11″ sheet of paper
      • Type simple instructions for your recipients!
  • Assemble!
    1. Place one double sided piece of tape down the side of your confetti party popper. End it just above the twist instructions on the bottom of the confetti party popper. Wrap your label being careful to cover the color that indicates what confetti is inside!
    2. Place double sided tape around the edge on the back of your corrugated mailer label. Place on the inside of the lid.
    3. Fill your corrugated mailer with crinkle cut paper and place your popper on top, cover it a little more and make sure it is packed safely!
    4. Tape your mailer shut, decorate as desired, address it + mail it at USPS! Done and done!!!

And, of course…….

POP! FLUTTER! CHEER! IT’S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!

I am Erin! I am an interior designer in the midwest. I love the design process: ideating, developing, actualizing. It is so incredibly fulfilling. As is being a parent! Life with both could not be better♥️
