Pumpkin Carving Party with DIY Pop-Up Table Runner

I saw an absolutely adorable idea for a table runner I had to use for this year’s pumpkin carving party! A paper pop-up table runner! How cute and easy, right!? I loved the idea of having spooky little shapes popping up between food and pumpkins for my kids to touch and look at. They loved it! I also liked that the runner was made out of paper, it protected my table from pumpkin innards and made clean-up a breeze!

My party decor was all inspired by pumpkins. I kept the color palette simple using black, orange and white, which really made the pumpkins pop! Food was also kept simple, since we carved pumpkins during snack time. My toddler sipped warm apple cider, while my husband and I sipped hard cider. It was such a fun afternoon for the whole family!
